YOUNGSTOWN, OH – Ohio based Alternative Jazz Fusion Band, SounDoctrine will perform Friday March 18th on Cleveland TV station WJW “Fox 8 In the Morning” program beginning at 7:00am and on WCSB 89.3 FM’s “The Fusion Show” with host Randy Allar from 1 to 3pm. Listeners to the radio show can tune in online and are encouraged to call in and talk with the band members.
SounDoctrine is currently enjoying consistent airplay on The Weather Channel with their recent single, “Marriage” from the new CD ‘Inspire’, released last October. The song is the band’s fourth single to air nationally.
“We are extremely grateful for the opportunities opening up to us,” says SounDoctrine drummer & producer, Jere B. “We’ve received very excellent reviews for this CD. Cleveland has always been a great supporter of our music and we look forward to introducing this new stuff on TV & Radio!” Joining Jere B on stage will be Cleveland musicians Rob White (bass) & Philip K Jones II (piano), Howland area guitarist Rick Young and introducing saxophonist Scott Cooper who resides in Warren Oh.
The band has introduced incentives to purchase ‘Inspire’ from their website by discounting the downloadable CD by 25% if done so during the performances. Additionally, SounDoctrine is asking married couples to e-mail their wedding photos to the band to be included in a video for the song by March 31. The first 500 couples who do so will receive a free download of the song. Couples who wish to use “Marriage” in their wedding ceremony are eligible to download the entire “Inspire” album for free.
